– Full time employment, min 30 hours per week – Fully compliant with Irish Tax and Employment laws – No displacement of existing employees – Ties in nicely to JobBridge

Part Time Jobs Incentive

• What is the Part Time Job Incentive

– Stepping stone to full time work

• Criteria

– Under 24 hours per week – Must last at least two months – Must be insurable employment at class A or J rate

Family Income Supplement

• Myth- it is not worthwhile getting into

employment

• FIS payment 60% of the difference between

the average weekly family income and the income limit set for the family size set by DSP
