  • Students ENJOY the medium of podcasting and tend to conceptually

understand the material better with the addition of podcasts (Vovides, 2010; Agnew, 2010)

  • Podcasting is linked to increased student motivation (Vovides,

2010; Popova & Edirisingha, 2010; Tam, 2011)

  • Important that podcasts are linked to the content of the class

(Copley 2007; Lazzari, 2009)

  • Several studies found higher student satisfaction but not better

student outcomes (Lakhal, Hager, and Pascot, 2007; Tam, 2011)

  • Experimental studies are varied as to enhancement of student

performance (Abt & Barry, 2007)
