A Brief History

ABC International was established in mid 2009 by Alberto D’Ambrosio who is the current Chairman. With over 40 years’ experience in the aviation industry, D’Ambrosio was formerly an executive manager in various fields both at home in Italy and abroad in USA and France. He worked with Aeritalia, Alenia Aermacchi, McDonnell-Douglas, ATR and Boeing, experiencing the aeronautical field for the most of his life.

EASA Approval

ABC International obtained the DOA Certification under the EASA Approval number #529. We are able to apply for certification and approval under EASA for any minor/major modification to aircraft cabin by means of Service Bulletin (STC)/Engineering Order (EO). We are full DOA Part 21 Subpart J n°529.

The Partner of Choice

ABC International strives to fulfil our mission by supporting our customers with: 01 a full package approach (including design, certification, manufacturing and installation); 02 with regards to all cabin interiors related products (including cabin refurbishment, carpet, seat covers, cushions and aesthetics OEMs and/or PMA parts, curtains, class dividers, Cabin Branding Elements, maintenance and refurbishment of cabin interiors).

We are able to manage any kind of cabin layout modification on multiple aircraft types including: A320, A321, A330, A340, A350, B737, B747 ,B767, B777, B787, ATR42/72.

 LOPA reconfiguration/modification;  Galley/lavatory/monuments removal and/or installation;  Aircraft external livery definition and change approval;  Increase/decrease of pax seats (from single class to mixed class and vice-versa);  Design, manufacturing and certification of installation of new cabin equipment (seat covers and cushions, cabin curtains, carpet and cabin branding elements);  Design, manufacturing and certification of installation of new cabin monuments (fixed and movable class divider, stowage and dog-house);  2nd hand seats procurement and refurbishment activities;  IFE systems installation;  Cabin Interiors and seat modification and upgrade engineering services;  Leather seat cover cleaning service.

We offer high quality Italian raw material and “ready to install kits”. We can offer support from design and development through to final production, certification and delivery.  FAR & ABD certified;  Provided with EO and EASA form one;  Wide choice of fabric/leather and colours available.

III. Cabin Monuments

Our manufacturing capability includes: moveable and fixed class dividers, partitions, stowage & dog-houses. Our products are all made out of lightweight, reliable and aesthetically pleasing materials. All Monuments can be equipped with:

 Provisions for LCD screen & for literature pocket;  Drawer, clothes rail, dog-house and compartment floor;  Provided with EO & EASA Form One;  Personalization: external decorative laminate and Cabin Branding Elements.

Successful Project: A320 Partition

ABC INTERNATIONAL has launched a new product within the A320 cabin monuments’ portfolio thanks to the continuous cooperation with the Lithuanian based MRO, FL Technics. It is the class divider/partition. It is made by aluminium core honeycomb with customized decorative film. As additional features there are literature pockets. Our partitions have just been installed on Small Planet Airlines A320 at the FWD aircraft’s cabin section. ABC INTERNATIONAL has taken care of Cabin Branding Elements integration within aircraft’s partition through customized provisions and appliances (including cables and wirings to connect the LED light to the aircraft power system). These items are made in Italy and certified with the DO-PO agreement according to EASA standards.

ABC International is keen to introduce our leading capability on design, manufacturing and certification branding elements for aircraft cabin installation.  Our cabin branding elements are a fantastic way to display the airline’s corporate brand throughout the cabin;  It is an effective tool to increase company brand awareness and visual identity;  Encourage customer loyalty by providing an enhanced environment during flights.
