  8. Lamp Capping Cements • Manufacture and sales of lamp capping adhesives mainly based on phenolic and silicone resins, for electric light bulbs and lamps. Incorporating natural and synthetic binders, fillers, bonding agents, etc. • Besopoke grades are possible for individual customer requirements such as lamp type, local environment and operating conditions. • Products are blended in one of three large capacity ribbon blade blending machines and packed to customer requirements in a dedicated manufacturing facility. • In addition to the dry powder blending facility, Glassbond (NW) LTD can also produce the Lamp Capping Cement in paste form to order, where certain customers may not have the facility for the preparation of the product themselves

  10. Moulding Compounds • Manufacture and sales of thermoset moulding materials based either on phenolic or melamine resin, for various applications and components. Formulations are based on resin binders incorporating a range of reinforcing and enhancing fillers, pigments, curing agents etc. • Products are manufactured on one of two dedicated rolling mills. • Large quantity of colours available either as individual ‘solid’ colours or combinations of colours to form bespoke ‘blends’. • Dedicated blending facility on site to produce a vast array of colour combinations.

High Temperature Cements • Manufacture and sales of Inorganic High Temperature adhesives – under licence from Sauereisen Inc USA. • Cements can be used for bonding ceramic, metal and glass in the electrical, mechanical, metallurgical and sensors/instruments markets. • The adhesives are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1649 o C (3000 o F) making them ideal for the most challenging assembly, encapsulation and sealing applications. • Products are supplied in powder form or ready made paste to meet customer requirements.
