DALI PLC | Functionality of

  • A device that facilitates communication of forward and

backward DALI commands through mains wiring

  • Installation requires at least one DALI PLC Bridge and

another DALI PLC Bridge, or a DALI PLC-IN implemented directly in the luminaire

  • The luminaires should be installed toghether with DALI

PLC on one phase

  • No need for a special driver or dedicated luminaire; any

DALI driver works

  • Control of a group of luminaires connected on one DALI

bus / Control of luminaires equipped with DALI drivers but without any DALI network / Control of luminaires equipped with DALI a driver and integrated DALI PLC-IN module

Hypermarkets / factories Wherever it would prove to be too costly to install additional DALI wiring due to the size of the installation. Historical buildings Buildings where reconstruction and modification of walls and ceilings is restricted or forbidden. Residential buildings / hotels Buildings with existing mains wiring where it is beneficial to easily update luminaires to those with advanced DALI / Tunable White functionality. Street illumination DALI control of street lighting through already existing mains infrastructure.
