Tennessee Advanced Communication Network • TACN responsibilities – – After the Local Government acquires the necessary additional network equipment needed for their requirements TACN then covers the maintenance Tennessee Advanced Communication Network and upgrades (both hardware and software) under the Statewide Contract. Excluded in the coverage is the on-site response to connected consoles. Consoles are included in the upgrade contract both hardware and software. 7
Tennessee Advanced Communication Network • Local Government Responsibilities – – The Local Government identifies a primary Point of Contact for all official communications concerning management of the network in your County. Tennessee Advanced Communication Network – Local Government is responsible for the on-site maintenance of their connected console and the equipment like generators, UPS and antennas that are located at their owned tower sites. 8
