Article 2 – Membership

  • 1. Owners of property with frontage on or private legal access to the lakes within the Lac Heney

watershed, their spouses, partners or children, are entitled to membership in the Association.

  • 2. Any other person may apply to become an Associate Member by paying the membership fee.
  • 3. Voting at any Annual or Special Meeting of the Association will be restricted to one representative per property for

which membership has been paid. Associate members may speak but may not vote at Annual or Special Meetings.

  • 4. Members entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting must have paid their annual dues prior to or at that meeting.

Article 3 – Goals & Objectives

  • 1. To organize and represent the members of the Association to further the protection and

conservation of the Lac Heney watershed.

Article 2 – Les membres

  • 1. Les propriétaires de terrains riverains, ou ceux et celles ayant un accès privé légalement reconnu au Lac Heney et son

bassin-versant, ainsi que leurs conjoints ou conjointes et enfants, ont le droit de devenir membre de l’Association.

  • 2. Toute personne peut demander de devenir membre associé en payant les droits d’adhésion.
  • 3. Lors des assemblées annuelles ou extraordinaires de l’Association, un seul représentant, ou représentante, d’une

propriété conférant le droit de devenir membre de l’Association pourra voter en autant que les droits d’adhésion ont été payés. Les membres associés pourront prendre la parole lors de ces assemblées, mais n’auront pas le droit de vote.

  • 4. Les membres ayant le droit de vote à l’Assemblée annuelle devront avoir payé les droits d’adhésion avant l’assemblée
  • u lors de l’assemblée même.

Article 3 – Buts et objectifs

  • 1. Organiser et représenter les membres de l’Association afin de promouvoir la protection et la conservation du Lac

Heney et de son bassin-versant.

Article 4 - The Board of Directors

  • 1. The affairs of the Association shall be managed by a Board composed of not fewer than 10 or more than 20

directors, elected by the Voting Members of the Association. In addition the immediate Past President shall be an ex-officio member with voting rights. Directors must be Members in good standing of the Association.

  • 2. The Board structure is intended to reflect and represent the Voting Membership of the Association from all lakes

in the watershed. The Board may designate representatives, or establish committees for the lakes, or otherwise ensure the representation of all Members, in a form the Board deems reasonable.

Article 4 – Le Conseil d’administration

  • 1. Les affaires de l’Association sont gérées par le Conseil d’Administration (CA) composé de pas moins de 10

membres et pas plus de 20. Les membres du CA sont élus par les membres de l’Association ayant le droit de

  • vote. De plus, le plus récent président sortant de l’Association est membre d’office du CA. Pour être membre du

CA, il faut être membre en bonne et due forme de l’Association.

  • 2. La structure du CA est destinée à représenter les membres ayant droit de vote provenant des lacs formant le

Lac Heney et son bassin-versant. Le CA peut désigner des représentants, ou établir des comités, ou assurer la représentation de tous les membres comme le CA juge raisonnable.
