1. Respect the waste Hierarchy

• we don’t use in kiln if ecologically and economically better way of recovery is

available

• Specific requirements and needs from Greek waste mgt planning

2. Additional emissions and negative impacts on human health must be avoided

• n a statistical basis, emissions into the air shall not be higher than those

from cement production with traditional fuel – Lesser limits through co-incineration Law – Reduction of pollutants in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) 3. The quality of the cement product remains unchanged

• the product should not have any negative impact on the environment as e.g.

demonstrated with leaching tests
