All-Russian Union of Oils and Fats

All-Russian Union of Oils and Fats was established in 1998, and began its activity in 1999. Now the Union has more than 50 members of oils and fats production and related industries plants, which produce about 80% of Russian vegetable oils and fats. Our members are the main Russian oil manufactures: the holding company "Solar Products", "EFCO", "Yug Rusi", "Nizhny Novgorod Oil and Fat Plant", “Sodrugestvo, "Petrosojuz", Aston" and others. The Union brought the significant contribution to the establishment and development of the oils and fats industry in Russia since its foundation.

The Union provides the effective producing

• pportunity to its members in oils and fats

industry. The Union is the leader in technical regulations, and state standardization process in

• ils and fats industry. It organizes the scientific

research in the industry development projects. Russia has become the member of WTO in 2012. Since that time the search for new partners in all countries (Russian partners in commercial relations) became one of the main tasks of the Union. We are looking forward to long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with

• ur

partners. The demand for our products is steadily growing in the world. That is why, we can see an increase in production of vegetable oils in Russia (see chart).

Russia has a great source of raw materials (the increasing in 2-3 times is possible), which allows to grow the production of goods for the citizens and for export (vegetable oil, mayonnaise, margarine, spreads, etc.). As well we can produce special fats for baking, confectionery, dairy industry (produced out of vegetable oils) for domestic market and for export. The nearest goals of Union are:

• to develop the export opportunities of oil

and fat industry, both in vegetable oils, and in downstream products;

• to improve the products quality in the oils

and fats industry as well as to expand the products range and to develop sales promoting on the Russian and foreign markets;

• to search for the new ways of using our

new products for food and technical purposes, both within the country and for export.
