Problems of modern times

Problem – lack of automation. Due to this: 1) parallel vote counting – long, expensive, inaccurate; 2) control of all district electoral commissions and prompt reaction to problems - impossible;

Reasons:

Work with data – decentralized, usually in Excel tables. Requires a lot of staff. Manual communication inside a team slows. Human factor - is a risk of occurrence of errors. Hard-copy paperwork doesn’t provide data protection.

Solution

eCast is designed for elimination of problems while ensuring:

accurate and rapid processing of voting results; data output on a map in table and graphic form; automation of call center performance; instant access and update of data in a system. All this accelerates processing of ballots and reports of observers regarding problems that may occur at electoral districts.

System data:

  • statistics of voter turnout and voting

results in tables and on a map (provided by observers);

  • Information about observers at District

Electoral Commissions (full name, contact information, number of District Electoral Commission);

  • Information about District Electoral

Commission and its district (number, address, number of electorates, expected voter turnout);

  • List of candidates and information

about them (stored in a system).

Potential of eCast
