Total cost of the trip:

$389.00

Price includes transportation, guided tour, admission to sites, hotel, dinner and breakfast, and Game Show & DJ Dance Party. Students will be responsible for food at rest stops (2) and lunch on both Thursday and Friday. All Aboard Tours offers trip insurance for an additional $49. Details are included in the contract. If you choose to cancel your trip within 4 weeks (Feb 5) of the departure date, and you do not have trip insurance, you will not receive a refund.

Note - we will not offer any extensions if you miss a deadline. This trip requires intricate planning, and therefore we cannot make any exceptions.

Things to consider before attending this trip:

  • This trip involves a great deal of walking over a period of 36 hours.

Students should consider the physical demands of touring a large metropolitan city before signing up for the trip. We will walk approximately 9 miles on the first day of the trip.

  • Students must abide by the WEMS Code of Conduct throughout the trip.

○ Any student who has accrued 8 or more demerits within two weeks of the trip will not be allowed to participate. ○ Any student who is suspended from school or on social probation within two weeks of the trip will not be allowed to participate. ○ Students who violate the Code of Conduct while on the trip will be sent home immediately at the expense of the parent.

Rooming Assignments

After the final payment date, we will meet with students to go over the process of rooming. Once rooms have been set with the trip company (approximately 6 weeks prior to departure), no adjustments will be made. Students should choose roommates wisely...

Rooming Assignment Procedure

  • 1. Students will find roommates to make up a foursome.
  • 2. One student will be the Room Captain. The Room Captain will

complete a Google Form including the names of all 4 roommates.

  • 3. The Room Captain may request to TRAVEL with two other rooms.
  • 4. Mr. Massa will try to accommodate at least ONE TRAVEL group
  • request. They may not be in the same travel group, but Mr. Massa

will try to put them on the same bus. If the same group is requested multiple times, the group may be on a different bus depending on the numbers.

  • 5. If there is a group of 6 friends, students will be encouraged to

compromise and be sensitive. WE leave no one out, so WE work it out! You can do four and two, or three and three

  • 6. If there are less than 4 in the room...
  • a. Any vacant spot will be filled with a single person or a

pair of students. Students will be asked for permission before the room is finalized.
