  • work. WiFi not mandatory for use.

○ Students are expected to transport their Chromebook in the Chromebook case at all

  • times. Do not come out of the case!

○ Students are expected to bring their Chromebook to school fully charged.

Inappropriate content on the student Chromebook will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Based on the severity of the content, the consequences may change and/or be escalated. All students will be expected to follow the AUP policy when using the Chromebook inside and outside of school. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action including up to suspension and expulsion from school.

Bullying will not be tolerated and will be dealt with on a case by case basis. If you are being bullied, follow these steps:

  • Take a screenshot (Control button and Window Key saves

it as a file in your Drive)

  • Share it with a building administrator
  • Do NOT reply or share it with other students
  • Reports can also be made in the main office

The damage costs will be paid by the student as this is viewed as vandalism of school property. The following are examples of what would be considered Mishandling/Not Taking Care of Chromebook:

  • Writing, drawing, adding stickers on the Chromebook bag
  • Having food/drink around the Chromebook
  • Pulling keys off the keyboard
  • Placing heavy objects on the Chromebook
  • Sharing or swapping the Chromebook

Chromebooks are owned by FCS and will not require a rental fee this school year; however parents will cover the costs for all repairs. Repairs could include the following: ○ Broken Screen ($145.99) ○ Power Adapter ($19.99) ○ Battery ($59.99) ○ Solid State Drive ($48.99) ○ Keyboard/Touchpad Replacement ($39.99)
