  14. Changes Due to COVID 2nd Slide ● When walking in the halls - STAY TO THE RIGHT - just like a car on the road. ● Visitors are not permitted into the building (includes parents) ● Parents are no longer required to come into the building to pick up their student during school hours. Your student will meet you at the front doors.

  15. Changes Due to COVID 3rd Slide ● Backpacks may be used, keeping congestion down at the lockers for social distancing ● Keep a baggie in your backpack to put your mask into when you take it off ● Bring a water bottle. You will be able to fill it at the water stations. Fountains will be shut off. ● Monday and Tuesdays will be EVEN days for PE/Music ● Wednesday and Thursday will be ODD days for PE/Music ● Fridays will rotate between ODD/EVEN ● Students will be given an ID card with a barcode, this will be scanned to purchase a lunch or check out a book in the Media Center.

  16. Changes Due to COVID 4th Slide ★ PE Lockers/Changing ○ You will still be assigned a locker and can still change. HOWEVER, you are encouraged to wear “athletic” attire on the days that you have PE. This will reduce students in the locker room, which will help with social distancing in the locker room. ★ Microwaves will no longer be available for students to heat up lunches from home.

  17. School Supplies 7th Grade Supply List 8th Grade Supply List

  18. BACKPACKS We are allowing backpack use during the school day this year. Students will still have a locker and will need it when it gets cold out. This will reduce students gathering in the locker bays. Keep backpacks simple - do NOT bring all your supplies and carry them around all day! ITEMS YOU SHOULD CARRY DAILY: Charged chromebook Headphones/earbuds Binder (with loose leaf paper) Writing Utensils Student ID (will get during Advisory)

  19. STUDENT ID ❏ Each student will receive a student ID this year. ❏ It will have a barcode on it. ❏ The barcode must be scanned to purchase a lunch or check out a book from the Media Center. ❏ Keep it with you or in your backpack.

  20. ORGANIZATION Keep your binder organized Keep your backpack organized and only carry the NEEDED items Start a daily homework routine Consistently use your Schoology Calendar/Planner Communicate with the teachers (email is best for parents)

  21. Student Planners ● Students will be taught how to use the calendar on Schoology as their planner. ● Parents will also be able to access it. Students may use a physical planner if they choose. Parents would need to purchase it.

  22. Middle School Schedule ● 6 class periods ● 4 quarters/grading periods. ● Class assignments, teacher names, & room numbers on the schedule. ● Locker numbers and combinations are listed on schedules. NEVER GIVE THIS TO ANYONE!!
