11/11/2015 Time To Vent! David's thoughts abruptly shift from his awesome God to the awful people around him: I hate them, God! I wish you would just get rid of them! Psalm 139:19-22, NIV If only you, God, would slay the wicked! Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty! They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name. Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord, and abhor those who are in rebellion against you? I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies. "Search Me, O God!" David does not confine his attack to the evil around him! He invites God to expose the bad in his own life!
