DTL TECHNOLOGIES

1 – Enhanced access to DTL associated technology & data expert facilities

  • All DTL-associated facilities and expert groups have

an updated ‘deep’ profile on the DTL web portal.

  • First top-group of open facilities engaged in

harmonising their data approach. Goal: FAIR data stewardship adopted in the majority of the DTL associated facilities and expert groups by 2016.

  • Focus meetings organized on cross-technology

experimentation and data integration plus on ‘quality, access and sustainability models for technology facilities.

  • DTL involved in design of NL cross-ESFRI /cross-

sector agendas on research infrastructures

2 – Active participation in designing ZonMw/ NWO hotel calls 2015/16 and secured funding

  • DTL co-designs hotel call 2016 with NWO/ZonMw,

using lessons learned in 2013/14 and 2014/15. FAIR data stewardship implemented as criterion.

  • DTL acquires role to advise and assist NWO/

ZonMw to judge data sections of (hotel) projects.

  • Funding secured for future calls, and successful

lobby to broaden the hotel concept to other NWO/ZonMw calls (for instance VENI/VIDI/VICI).

  • Establish cross-disciplinary network of

technology facilities, developers and service providers in academia & industry

  • Enable ease of access to DTL-associated

technology expertise and facilities, and link them to promote integrated projects and FAIR data stewardship
