Hotspot: Email Mr. Torres (srt1295@lausd.net) for a hotspot request. Can students retrieve items from their lockers? No. The items are secure. Who can go to Grab n Go? Los Angeles Unified, in partnership with the Red Cross, will continue to provide nutritious meals to all students from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Each student can take home two nutritious meals. How do students return athletics uniforms? Our Athletic Director and AP are creating a system for returns. What is the process for permits to enroll at ERJSHS? We are not accepting permits at this time until we receive guidance from LAUSD. Yearbook? Our tremendous Totem team with Ms.Youngblood-Jarman finished it but the publishing company is closed…

How will I know if I am eligible to graduate?

  • Mr. Dominguez, Ms. Felix, Mr. Vollmer, others, and I are continuing

to collaborate with all students. We are working on the Senior Graduation letter.

How will the virtual graduation work?

  • Supt. Beutner just announced on Monday, so details are coming.
  • We are also currently working on alternative ways to celebrate
  • ur seniors.
  • We did a poll last month and by overwhelming response,

students wanted a live graduation ceremony over anything else.

  • Assuming the physical distancing order is lifted and LAUSD

approves, we can propose a live ceremony in December during winter break.

What about Occidental College?

They postponed their May 17 Commencement ceremony. We have a 90+ year partnership!We requested December, if we get approval from Oxy, LAUSD, City, County, State, and Federal levels.

What happened with Grad Nite (PTSA-sponsored event)?

  • PTSA was waiting for Disney offices to open back up this week to

get a better grasp on their decision for Grad Nite. I

  • f Disney decides to move forward with the June 13th date, PTSA

has to pay the deposit by the end of April.

  • Many families have requested a refund and are being processed.
  • Whomever does not ask for a refund by 4/17, cannot request for
  • ne after the cut off. The assumption will be made that they will

be attending grad nite and payment will be made to Disney.

  • However, those who did request a refund, cannot purchase at

ticket to attend Grad Nite. What about senior dues? Mr. De La Rosa (financial manager) is working on logistics for reimbursements. What happened with prom? The prom venue cancelled our event and are closed until further notice. They fully refunded the down payments made and the check is in the mail
