Student Dress Code

  • Casual dress
  • No blue jeans
  • No tennis shoes
  • No flip flops
  • No facial jewelry
  • No heels – you will not be allowed on field with heels
  • Graduation Regalia
  • Honor Stole – Gold

Ticket Retrieval

  • Each student will receive 6 tickets
  • One (1) for the graduate
  • Five (5) for the members of the graduate’s party
  • No Ticket: No Admittance
  • Tickets should not be given away or sold. This does not allow for

the practice of social distancing guidelines as outlined by TEA

Ticket Retrieval

  • Students may pick up tickets during the following times:
  • May 26th (Tuesday) from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
  • May 27th (Wednesday) from 3pm – 7pm)
  • May 28th (Thursday) from 12pm – 3pm)
  • Senior Checkout Procedures to be cleared for tickets:
  • Athletics, Preforming Arts, ROTC clearance
  • Textbooks
  • Technology
  • Library Books
  • Cleared all items from Not Clear List

Arrival at Globe Life Park

  • Graduates need to arrive 1.5 hours

prior to graduation to be seated (NO Processional) –

8:00am

  • Only 2 cars per family
  • Families/Graduate will park in

Parking Lot R LOT R

Arrival at Globe Life Park

  • Students will enter through the West Gate (you will need your ID and Ticket

to enter Globe Life Park)

  • Again must wear face covering (mask)
  • Again NO BAGS
  • Students will be allowed to bring one bottle of water into the park.
  • Temperature will be scanned and if above 100.0, you will not be allowed

entrance into the venue per TEA Guidelines.

  • Please seat in your assigned seat. Students are to practice social distancing

during the entirety of the program.

Ceremony / Dismissal

  • Line Leaders will be assigned to each section. They will lead you

down onto the field

  • Graduates’ name will be called, and you will walk across Home

Plate to receive your diploma from an Irving ISD School Board member

  • I will be standing to the side of where you receive diploma to

congratulate you

  • Please remember in order to practice social distance, staff will not

be allowed to hug or shake hands

  • Please remain seated until every graduate has walked

the stage to be dismissed by a designee

Diploma Pick Up

  • During the ceremony, you will only receive a diploma cover
  • Times will be established for diploma pickup, transcript pick up,

retrieval of two commencement programs, and to return stoles
