  1. European Technology Evaluation Workshop Technology evaluation, The EASA perspective Working for quieter and cleaner aviation.

  2. European Aviation Environmental Report EASA required to publish this report every 3 years (www.easa.europa.eu/eaer/). Objective, accurate overview of the aviation sector‘s environmental performance. Includes environmental data on overall sector and specific topics (e.g. Technology and Design). 22/10/2018 2

  3. Example: Fleet level emission scenarios 22/10/2018 3

  4. Example: Certified aircraft noise data 22/10/2018 4

  5. Example: Certified engine emissions data 22/10/2018 5

  6. Technology Evaluation Effective communication on the benefits from the Clean Sky technology programmes is critical for increased visibility of its achievements. This requires: Clear baselines and metrics which place the potential future benefits in context for the public and policymakers to interpret (e.g. Annex 16 certification requirements at a product level, EAER noise and emissions forecast at a fleet level, medium/long term technology goals). Sharing of a full set of data to selected parties in order to support a V&V process and provide confidence in projected benefits. 22/10/2018 6
