Good design is a process that should be comprehensive, communicative, and well executed. The design process indicated above is an average design sequence. Duration of the design process depends on the Client and complexity.
Interview & Consultations
What are your design needs, and how can I assist you? This is an opportunity for you to share your needs, your hopes and your style with me, and to discuss expectations. I maintain a high level of communication and am available for email and phone discussions as needed.
Estimate
How much will this design cost? Every design is unique, with different requirements, complexity and scope. I tailor every Estimate to suit your project’s scope and budget. Typical costs are between $600-$2000.
Site Analysis
What are the existing conditions
Site measurements, access requirements, solar & wind aspects, water, drainage, sight lines, privacy concerns, pet needs, and all relevant details.
Concept Development
How can the criteria we’ve discussed merge with the lifestyle you want? I combine maintenance requirements, theme, style, plant preferences, functionality and form into a cohesive and unique design for you. (Concept & Theme Board)
Revisions
Is the Concept what you want? What aspects of the design are solid and what needs to be adjusted to more perfectly reflect your ideal outdoor living space? Do we need to shift emphasis on certain design points?
Final Design
Do you have the communication tools you need to create your ideal outdoor living space? You’re ready. A Landscape Contractor can now provide an Estimate for you, and you can complete the installation. (Final Design, Planting Plan, Master Plant List and 3D Perspectives)
