The University
- The University of Gibraltar opened its doors on 21st September 2015.
- There are three faculties
- Faculty of Business
- Faculty of Health and Sport Science
- Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality
- Three Institutes:
- Institute for Gibraltar and Mediterranean Studies
- Institute for Earth and Life Sciences
- Institute of Continuing Professional Development
- Linked to the UK as a Member State of the EU, Gibraltar has access to
European Funding and the Erasmus+ Programme.
- Gibraltar does not come under the UK universities but we chose to be
aligned with the UK Governance, Academic Framework and Quality Assurance.
- The University of Gibraltar has Research Degree and Research Degree
awarding powers.
