  • High equipment dependability with Dual Fuel engines
  • Better economic efficiency due to use of new gas engines

technology

  • To guarantee continuous 41 MW: 3 gas engines, 14.4 MW(e)

each, and 3 dual fuel engines, 13.7 MW(e)

  • Major invest for the new power plant of Gibraltar
  • By the year 2020, 15% of the energy requirement in Gibraltar

must be generated by renewable energy

  • Smaller solar panels and micro-wind turbines are under
  • construction. Further studies on wave and tidal generators or

negotiations are planned
