Project framework conditions On Focus Security of supply  100% independent energy supply leads to high energy security  High equipment dependability with Dual Fuel engines  Better economic efficiency due to use of new gas engines technology  To guarantee continuous 41 MW: 3 gas engines, 14.4 MW(e) each, and 3 dual fuel engines, 13.7 MW(e)  Major invest for the new power plant of Gibraltar  By the year 2020, 15% of the energy requirement in Gibraltar must be generated by renewable energy  Smaller solar panels and micro-wind turbines are under construction.
