ASK THE STAFF!
✔ I realized that it is possible to be quiet and still make an impact on the world. I can be shy at times and not have the “woo” that some orientation leaders have which scared me at first, but I realized that if everyone had the same energy, the group as a whole wouldn’t work. I was able to stay true to myself and still make a huge impact, which is something I will take with me forever. ✔ Take advantage of the little moments and how one conversation can change someone’s life. ✔ I learned that I have leadership qualities beyond what I ever imagined. I always had the (very
ever before that I can make a really significant impact with my ability to connect with people. ✔ I am involved with a lot of different organizations on campus, and I am really proud of that because I have really good friends from many places. However, I think I truly found myself in this job. ✔ I learned that I am proud to be who I am. I always tried to be like "other girls" growing up but this experience helped me feel more comfortable in my own skin because so many people I met liked me for me. And when I was confidently myself in front of my floor it helped them want to share things about themselves and be authentically themselves which I found to be inspiring. ✔ That the small acts of kindness I do can make a big impact on a students experience here.
