 1916 - Army JROTC Established By Congress

 1919 - Army JROTC Established In Washoe County  1964 - JROTC Opened to All Services

Navy: Established at Reed in 1974 Established at Damonte in 2001 Air Force: Established at North Valleys in 2001

 1974 - JROTC Opened to Females  1992 - Doubled Programs Nationwide  2000 - 50 New Schools a year for 5 years

graduation rate from High School!

WCSD JROTC has sent at least 20 students to

military academies or received senior ROTC scholarships in each of the last 9 years.

Only 10% of our cadets join the military
