OSE Students

  • Students with OSE are to attend school according to their class schedule,

even on late arrival / early dismissal days. (Exceptions may apply in the event

  • f an emergency closing or weather delay and for students taking dual credit

courses).

  • OSE students may NOT be in building during OSE times.
  • OSE students will receive a badge to display as a pass upon arrival and

departure

  • AM OSE (arrive late) must sign in for attendance purposes

  • Student access to certain areas of the school are limited as follows:
  • Access to A Wing during Cougar A is limited to those students attending intervention, study

hall, or other activity in a classroom, or to visiting their locker.

  • There is no student access to A Wing during Cougar B without a pass.
  • There is no sitting or standing in the Front Lobby. Students may only pass through on the

way to/from the Library or Library Hallway Loop.

  • Students are not to congregate in doorways; doing so presents a safety hazard.
  • Choral and Band rooms access requires the express permission of an instructor.
  • Access to outdoors is limited to the area in front of the cafeteria entrance, the B/C

Courtyard, and the designated space between the tennis courts.

Cell Phones

  • RESPONSIBLE cell phone use is permitted during Cougar Hour or when

teacher permits (yellow or green)

  • Cell phone use is limited to texting, reading, listening to music, playing games, and watching movies.
  • An earbud (one ear only for safety) must be used – no external speakers are permitted in the school.
  • To protect the privacy of students, NO video recording or taking pictures is permitted.
  • Students who need to make a phone call must go to the office or a teacher to request a space for privacy.
  • For safety, cell phones are not to be in use – i.e. not looking at phone - when walking.

Parking

  • The parking fee for the year is $50.00 and is payable by cash,

check, or money order.

  • Juniors and Seniors with a Platinum or Cougar Renaissance Card

receive a $10 discount on the yearly parking fee.

  • Qualifying Sophomores may purchase parking by the quarter for

$15 beginning 2nd Quarter.

  • Leaving school grounds without authorization will result in a loss of parking

privileges for the remainder of the year.

  • Students with outstanding debt(s) will not be issued a parking pass.
  • Seniors who have not updated their shot records will not be issued a parking pass.

  • Failure to comply with parking policies will result in revocation of parking
  • privileges. There will be no refund of parking fees.
  • Additionally, failure to comply with school rules and expectations may result in loss
  • f parking privileges, including, but not limited to, the following:
  • 5 tardies (excused or unexcused) will result in suspension of parking privileges for 10 school days.
  • 10 tardies (excused or unexcused) will result in suspension of parking privileges for the semester.
  • More than 10 tardies will result in revocation of parking for the remainder of the year.
  • Failure to comply with school rules and expectations may result in suspension or revocation of parking

privileges.

A $15 fee will be charged to reinstate suspended parking.
