4 ODDS & ENDS Regional Instructor Training • Mandatory training for continued certification • Instructors will attend the training on an alternating basis • Brigade Commander decision authority for excusals JROTC Program of Accreditation (JPA) • SY 18/19 will be the 4th year for the new JPA process • At the end of SY 18/19 all programs will have received a JPA is they met the criteria • Evaluation of Cadre plays major roll in process • Lengthy process – minimum of 6 hours in the school 4 th BDE JPA Results for SY 17/18 • Scheduled: 89 • Completed: 82 plus 7 SAVs • HUD: 42 (51%) • SAT: 37 (45%) • Unsat: 3 (4%) • SAV: 7
ODDS & ENDS 4 (continued) CNACI Background Checks • Directed by SECARMY • All cadre will undergo regardless of current security clearance • Do not initiate until instructed to do so • Comply with timeline; several instructors have lost their certification for failure to meet the timeline requirements • All instructors will have completed CNACI prior to entering the classroom • Lengthy process; some schools may have to operate with only 1 instructor for a period of time • Re-verified every 5 years Common Access Cards (CACs) 456 - 4 th Brigade cadre now have CACs • • Time sensitive action; Meet the suspense • Logistics • New procedures coming • CW2 Mintz – Bde PBO • Hand Receipts – 25 remain delinquent

4th Bde JROTC Downsizing 4 Bde JROTC has reached our strength of 8 TDA authorized personnel. 1 x Perm Over-hire 1 x BMM (Mar 19) Awaiting results of recent manpower analysis.
