Faith Communities • Care about individual members’ health and are centers of their communities Schools • Physical activity can help students improve: Concentration, Memory, and Classroom behavior • Most U.S. children consume a large portion of their daily food intake at school. By ensuring that food offerings are consistent with an overall healthy diet , schools can model healthy eating behaviors Employers • For every $1 spent on worksite wellness, employers can save up to $6. • Worksite wellness programs can reduce sick leave, medical costs, and workers compensation by as much as 25%. • Healthy Communities = Healthy Businesses!
