  4. The The Impo portance tance of the the Cooki kie e Pr Progr gram  It’s More Than Money  Girl Scouts offer the only programs where the girls earning the money, get to decide where to spend a portion of the money.  Girls develop lifelong skills to successfully navigate through life.

  5. Cooki kie e Bu Busi siness ess Cur urric iculum ulum Girls develop specific business skills • through the ‘learning lab’ of the Cookie Program. Girls work through the Cookie Business • badges in the Girl Guides. Badges are earned in a cookie season, not • one or two meetings. Troops can use the online Toolkit to • incorporate badge requirements into meetings. Girls can use the Digital Cookie Platform to • work through cookie badge requirements.

The skills girls learn through the Cookie Program will help them grow into leaders in their own lives, leaders in business and leaders in the community.

Coo ookie kie Ac Acti tivity ity Pi Pin  All participating girls earn the annual Cookie Activity Pin by applying the Five Skills to their work in the Cookie Program: What was her goal? ➢ Did she work as a team? ➢ Did she help develop her troop budget? ➢ Did she develop an ‘elevator speech’? ➢ How does the troop give back to the community? ➢  The activity pin is available for purchase in the Council Shop for only $1.50!

All Girls Packages Earn Program Credits 160 + $5 Program credits 200 + $6 Program Credits 250 + $6 Program Credits 335 + $10 Program Credits 450 + $15 Program Credits 550 + $50 Program Credits 1050 + $60 Program Credits 1550 + $87 Program Credits + $100 voucher 2000 + $100 Program Credits 2500 $252 Program Credits + 2 vouchers of $100 for a total of: $552

The Troop Product Manager will receive an email welcoming them to log-in to eBudde. Step One – Receive welcome email. • Subject: Welcome to the 2018-2019 Girl Scout Cookie Season! Welcome to the 2018-2019 Girl Scout Cookie Season! You’ve been invited to join the eBudde™ system. Step Two - Click the link in the email that will take you to the screen that allows you • to change your password. • Step Three – Enter in your personal password and confirm personal password and click change my password. Step Four – Enter in your personal profile information. All profile fields mandatory • except for Address Line 2. Be sure to enter current password. Click Update Profile. • Step Five – Select the system you want to use and have access to and you will be taken to the landing page of the system of choice. If you can’t find the email, but have been entered into eBudde by your Service Unit, reset your password for access to the system.

Product Program Team will send • updates to troops and SU’s. Neighborhood specific communication • is sent by the Service Unit. Girls and her Parent/Guardian agree • to communicate cookie inventory status with Troops and turn money in weekly.

  27. Cooki kie e for th the e Community unity Troop Cookies for the Community NEW! Earn a Cookies for the Community by telling your Troop Cookies for the Community story! See our website for details. Troops select a non-profit organization they would like to support. • • Troop Product Manager contacts the organization to verify they can accept the cookies. Troops use unsold inventory at the end of sale to fill Cookies for the Community • orders. • If Troops need additional product to fulfill order: Troops should check girl inventory. ➢ Troops should check troop to troop transfer link. ➢ Pick up additional cookies from the cupboard. ➢ • Troop Product Managers record the transaction in the T_COC column in eBudde. Troops handle cookie distribution.

Coo ookie kie for or th the e Com ommunity munity Council Cookies for the Community Council supports the USO, St. Vincent de Pauls, United Food Bank, and • other local food banks across the Council. Troops sells the cookies for the program, records the transaction in • eBudde and deposits the money. The Council donates the cookies. • Troop Product Managers record the transaction in the C_COC column in • eBudde. Girls who sell 25+ packages earn a Cookies for the Community Patch. • Troops handle cookie distribution.

Girls and parents decide if they want to participate. Please encourage all girls to participate because the Digital Cookie Platform gives girl new opportunities to: o Run her own online business! o Promote her cookie business. o Create her own webpage. o Enjoy more ways to keep track of her cookie customers. o Earn badges!

  33. Initi itial al Orde der: r: D Due ue De Dec. 9 . 9 • Initial Orders help to manage the inventory for the entire Council because it provides a snap shot of the inventory needs of the Council. When troops do not place an initial order, it is difficult • to predict troop inventory needs and those troops will have to rely on cupboard inventory. Over reliance on the cupboards can cause a council wide • inventory shortage. • Please pick up all large orders at the Council Cupboard. 175+ Troop Per Girl Order Reward on the Initial Order The Initial Order Calculator will calculate the • recommended amount of cookies troops should make on their initial order by flavor. However, troops leaders should make adjustments as needed.
