LFP LMO NCA
Cell Quan9ty LFP baDeries can be made into a large cell, which decreases the quan@ty and also makes the baDery management simpler. \ NCA baDery cannot be made into a stable large cell. Small cells increase the quan@ty and need a complicated baDery management system. Safety & Thermal Stability The chemistry structure remains stable at 600℃. There is no risk of releasing O2 and it gives out a very low quan@ty of heat. Decomposi@on temperature is higher than NCA, lower that LFP Decompose at 180℃ and releases O2. Gives out lots of heat. Life & Chemical Principle Ferric iron is very stable, is has no more chemical change, which is the reason that LFP has a long life. At 50 ℃, manganese in baDery cathode dissolves into electrolyte, which shortens the LMO baDery life \ Energy Density 100-110 Wh/kg lower that NCA, higher than LFP 150-160 Wh/kg Applica9on
