Innovation hurdles Power2ammonia/ Flaredgas2ammonia/hydrogen2ammonia = Energy2ammonia • THE WORD AMMONIA IS PROBLEM, so NFUEL!! • PROVEN PLANTS, BUT NOT ON SMALL SCALE • Not sexy to use existing technologies in new innovation • The use of storage of green energy is denied/ try to avpid • No entity takes the innitiative to store energy since all stakeholders expect somebody else to take the action (so, not MY problem!) • Commercial Value for this storage is not considered today, but needed in future. Who is first! • The lack of interest in green chemicals, but growing slowly. • The lack of interest in grid stabilisation ( should be organised by smart grids) • The lack of conscienceness that large storage is needed in case we wish Paris Climate Agreement to work • Power companies like to expand grid versus new technology ( chemistry) . • The lack of doing pilot test(s) at larger scale, only small subsidies to find out new technologies to prove for small scale!

Support needed for succes • Policy needed for large scale projects • Solving the huge storage needs to overcome seasons • Supporting Paris Climate Innitiative • Out of box thinking for short term solution and future solution • Tests for 20-50 MW to store in volumes of 20-200 MW to solve issue • Flexible sourcing needed, power from solar, wind , geothermal, tidal • New R&D for new technologies to make hydrogen or Nfuel direct • Incentives to store sustainable energy • Seasonal/ long term • Use the benefits from sustainable energy taxes for development/sponoring • Put taxes on imports of energy without Co2 reduction/ sustainable sources.
