SolarVenti is a positive input ventilation system that delivers warmed fresh filtered air into homes Offering solutions for every type of property from holiday lodges, domestic homes, commercial premises and lots more Through using the sun to warm the air SolarVenti is the worlds first eco friendly Ventilation system
SolarVenti is installed on the roof or wall of the property, preferably South Facing. 1. The air enters the panel through the small holes at the back, which are designed to prevent insects and moisture from entering. 2. The air then passes through filters, which clean the air to 4 microns removing dust, pollen, most car emissions. 3. The filtered air passes into the building anytime the system is
security and peace of mind.
SolarVenti has a number of Patents including:
Fact: Warmed air absorbs more moisture than ambient air Air that is warmed after passing through the SolarVenti panel has the same amount of moisture as when it entered the panel at ambient, when the temperature of air rises above the ambient then its ability to absorb moisture rises and once above 35°C then this ability to absorb moisture rises dramatically ( this can be as much as 60% higher than ambient air). The warmer air has greater space between the molecule and is therefore able to absorb water molecules. The warmed air acts like a sponge when inside the house absorbing the moisture in the air. The air passes through the building in such a way it cannot meet dew point. As SolarVenti uses warm fresh air you can save on heating costs as dry air is easier to heat the humid air. Remember when removing moisture or water from the air the perceived temperature is about 3-4°C warmer, this will help with savings on heating
The SolarVenti can filter air to 4 microns This means it can fully or partially filter the particles particles entering your home (See figure 1) This means particles such as pollen, mould spores and the majority of bacteria are filtered The filter can be cleaned by switching the panel off and allowing the panel to heat up and burn off the particles
Particle Particle Size (microns) Auto and Car Emission 1 - 150 Bacteria 0.3 - 60 Beach Sand 100 - 10000 Carbon Black Dust 0.2 - 10 Cement Dust 3 - 100 Coal Dust 1 - 100 Dust Mites 100 - 300 Fiberglass Insulation 1 - 1000 Hair 5 - 200 Household dust 0.05 - 100 Human Hair 40 - 300 Human Sneeze 10 - 100 Insecticide Dusts 0.5 - 10 Mould 3 - 12 Mould Spores 10 - 30 Pollen 10 - 1000 Skin flakes 0.5 - 10 Spores from plants 3 - 100 Typical Atmospheric Dust 0.001 to 30

Village Hall in Cumbria with an SV20: The Hill Village Hall, located in South West Cumbria, installed a SV20 in Mid January 2017 with the intention to combat damp and condensation as the building is not heated when empty. Even allowing for the vagaries of the Cumbrian climate the SolarVenti, has already made a difference to the environment in the hall. The unit pushes warm air through the building and the interior walls are no longer damp, paper left in the room has stopped curling, and the musty smell has gone. We are really pleased with the difference it has already made, and the installation was much cheaper, much simpler, quicker than we were budgeting. It was up and running in half a day. The only question we have is weht hadn’t we done it before? Regards Lesley
Our panel was installed in April 2013 and has operated without difficulty since then. Before it was installed the two bedrooms and bathrooms it serves always had a slightly damp feel. This is a weekend cottage so isn’t occupied full time and it meant that the first days or two were spent drying these rooms as well as heating them. Once the SolarVenti panel was installed we didn’t have that problem and the rooms are noticeably dryer and particularly after a sunny winters day much warmer than before. Very occasionally when we’ve had bright sunlight first thing people sleeping in bedrooms have heard the fan but I is easy to switch off for those times Franly I’m amazed the aren’t many, many more of these installed in second homes or similar spaces
I have the largest sized SolarVenti available and it has stopped the feeling of damp and the pricey run of night storage heater for my converted barn. Since the installation of SolarVenti a few years ago (about 4 or 5) we had pretty well banished ‘cold and damp’ As you know I am a strong Solarventi enthusiast and would always be pleased to let possible buyers look at my installation and listen to my enthusiasm.
