Join us for 7 Sunday Futsal Sessions Sol Futsal is free and open to all girls regardless of club affiliation. When: Sundays, Dec. 6th - Jan. 17th 3:00pm - 5:00pm Ages 9 and up Where: Girls Inc. Goleta Center (4973 Hollister Avenue) What to wear: Shorts, T-shirt, soccer socks, shin guards, and flat/indoor soccer, gym, or tennis shoes ** (no black bottom shoes). Goalkeepers: Due to the hard surface, gloves, knee and elbow pads are recommended. **Running shoes are not recommended as they are elevated and cause players to roll their ankle when they stop, start and trip and fall.

➢Develop individual skill and intelligence which impacts creativity and confidence. ➢Brings to forefront RAE (Relative Age Effect)… not a fix! ➢Emphasize individual player over team… long-term development and fun. ➢Unifies environment across the country.
Small Sided Standard (U6 through U12)
Mini Fields up to U8 (4 V 4). Development Fields U9 & U10 (7 V 7). Small Sided Field U11 & U12 (9 V 9). Timeline for implementation TBD by Cal South

born in 2002, 2003, 2004, etc. Year Season Ends – Birth Year = Age Group: 2016-17 – 2003 = U14 2017-18 – 2003 = U15 2018 – 2012 = U6 Effective for the 2016-17 season
Spring Plan
Start March 1, 2016 Each age group session is a combined/collaborative practice. Two coaches/age group minimum (assignments pending). Practice days Mon.-Thurs. (all sessions within 4:00-7:00 time frame).* ★ '07-'05's: M/W ★ '04's: M/W ★ 'O3-02's: T/Th ★ '01-'98's: U16 and Up (high school): T/Th

Team Formation
★ Fall 2016-17 teams formed by birth year. ○ “Playing up” considered on individual basis. ★ Dependant on Cal South implementation timeline ★ Verbal Commitment by Jan. 15th. ★ Registration received by May 15th.
