Loudoun Soccer –Who We Are

  • Loudoun Soccer – Developing Champions for Life!
  • Mission
  • To create soccer players, coaches, and teams of strong character, committed to

achievement on the field and in our community.

  • Core Values
  • Fun!-It’s why we play
  • Integrity–Character and Principled
  • Fairness –Sportsmanship and Inclusiveness
  • Teamwork –Stronger Together
  • Stewardship–of the Game and the Community

Rationale: From DA to ECNL

  • Loudoun Soccer needs the ability to control its own player pathway model with

certainty.

  • Boys ECNL provides a national competition to showcase our players effectively

for the next level –College Soccer

  • Loudoun Soccer continues to provide the same level of player development,

coach standards and training environment .

  • US Soccer has provided no indication that we will continue to grow as a DA

member club in our area –We cannot be a feeder organization for other Non- MLS area DA Clubs.

  • We strongly believe long term Boys ECNL provides the best platform for our

players (example, no U12 DA, and likely no U13, potential loss of MLS clubs).

  • Loudoun Soccer remains a partner in P2P with DC United. Our pathway to Pro

environment existed before DA and will continue to exist after.

  • ECNL allows our players the option to play HS Soccer.

DCU Partnership/Pathway to Pro (P2P)

  • The DMV P2P is created to give the top players ages U11-U14 in the local

DMV a clear pathway to the pro’s with the support on and off the field of top local clubs.

without them leaving the club.

  • Player Pool
  • Promotes the non P2P clubs in the area to push their players into P2P

clubs to give them the pathway.

the same pathway and have the same goals and responsibilities.
