AYSC Club Highlights • AYSC is a non- profit soccer club that was established in 1986 by two local Alaskan’s. We currently have 200+ competitive soccer players. Boys & Girls ages 2.5-18. • • We currently have 300+ recreational soccer players. Boys & Girls ages 2.5-18. • In 2019 AYSC was invited to join the Portland Timbers and Thorns FC as an official Alliance Club to share information, resources and players. Club Programs TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer), a community-based training program • for all athletes with intellectual, emotional, and/or physical disabilities. • Year-round Recreational Soccer. Preschool Soccer Academy. • • Competitive Soccer Teams for players 8-18. • Camps and Tournaments for all ages and levels. Senior team in the United Premier Soccer League for players 17-28. •

MISSION STATEMENT To offer a positive club culture and stay committed to the development and growth of all players to help them reach their goals. CLUB PHILOSOPHY AYSC focuses on educating players and coaches while maintaining a positive environment. The club promotes sportsmanship, respect, and hard work while teaching the technical, tactical, physical and psychological components of the game. Creating a positive club culture is as important to us as creating a highly skilled and competitive player. In order to stay true to our philosophy, the club has placed great emphasis on the following: • Long term development of all players, not just the better ones. • Providing opportunities for our players to participate at all levels of play. • Implementing age -appropriate training sessions by educated & licensed coaches. • Encouraging our coaching staff to further their soccer education. • Promoting teamwork that encourages personal discovery in players. • Encouraging players to become well rounded athletes that love to compete.
