What is the SSDS?

  • New for the 17-18 school year
  • Replaced the EVVRS and HIB-IT Reports
  • Revisions to the Incident Reporting System

○ Some fields have been removed (burglary & fireworks) ○ Some fields have been combined (bomb threat, fake bomb, fire alarm offense are now one offense: False Public Alarm ○ Some field have been separated (Substance Use is now two separate incident types: Substance Use Confirmed and Substance Suspected, Refused Exam) ○ Additional Revisions: HIB Incident and now described as HIB Alleged or HIB confirmed, All removals must be reported (not just removals for Sp.Ed.) ○ New Incident Fields: Bias Intimidation (confirmed by law enforcement), Computer Trespass, Other Incident Leading to Removal
