Project Overview  Length: 15 miles  Total cost: $49.96 million  Mainlane improvements from north of Leopard Street to east of Flour Bluff Drive: – Install new lighting – Install Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), including traffic cameras  Eastbound mainlane and frontage road improvements from Ayers Street to Nile Drive: – Reconstruct center median barrier – Widen freeway to improve capacity and mobility – Reverse ramps – Improve signal timing SH 358 Improvements – Corpus Christi District All dates & schedules are subject to change Updated October 2018 2

Project Phases and Timeline The project is being constructed in 10 phases*: Phase 1 January 2018 – June 2018 Phase 2 March 2018 – Spring 2019 Phase 3 Fall 2018 – Summer 2019 Phase 4 Spring 2019 – Summer 2020 Phase 5 Summer 2020 * This schedule is subject to change. Construction Sequencing – Phase 1 Overview  Construct new temporary mainlane center median barrier from Ayers Street to Airline Road  Widen eastbound frontage road and construct sidewalks between Ayers Street and Kostoryz Road Crews begin work to reconstruct the mainlane center median barrier. Phase 1 – Mainlanes Between Ayers Street and Airline Road  Remove existing center median barrier Off-peak lane closures are required as the existing center median barrier is replaced  Reconstruct inside shoulders and add with a temporary barrier and the inside temporary center median barrier shoulders are reconstructed.  Purpose: – Accommodate future eastbound mainlane traffic shifts and permanent center median barrier  Closures required: – Various off-peak eastbound and westbound mainlane closures SH 358 Improvements – Corpus Christi District All dates & schedules are subject to change Updated October 2018 5

Phase 2 – Eastbound Off-Ramp to Kostoryz Road/Carroll Lane  Relocate eastbound off-ramp serving Kostoryz Road and Carroll Lane: – Build new off-ramp near Richter Street, west of existing off-ramp – Improve drainage along frontage road Existing Kostoryz Rd/ New Kostoryz Rd/ Carroll Ln off-ramp – Permanently close existing off-ramp Carroll Ln off-ramp to be built  Purpose: farther west – Improve safety and mobility for eastbound mainlane and frontage road drivers approaching the Kostoryz Road intersection.  Anticipated closures: – Off-peak closures of inside eastbound frontage road lane SH 358 Improvements – Corpus Christi District All dates & schedules are subject to change Updated October 2018 8
