FEDERAL SPENDING & PROGRAMS

 Census data are used to decide

how $675 billion in federal public funding is spent every

  • year. Pennsylvania gets $26.8 billion

annually through our 16 largest federally-funded programs. That’s about $2,000 per Pennsylvanian each year.

 These numbers may change based

  • n our 2020 Census data. Federal

funding supports many important programs and services for Pennsylvanians, including in healthcare, food security, education, transportation, housing, community development, support for families, and more.

UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE

The GreatPhillySchools website helps families learn more about K-12 schools and daycare/preschool options in Philadelphia.

On greatphillyschools.org, families can learn about schools and school selection through a school finder search feature, articles, partner resources, school events and more.

Each school is allowed access to their school profile to enter qualitative descriptive information to be displayed with final approval by GreatPhillySchools.

UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE

We can help families find ECE centers still enrolling students for the 2020-21 school year through GreatPhillySchools.org!

On our website, we feature two ways families can find open seats.

This article features a summary (updated every 24 hours) of every preschool or daycare center’s open seats by age and grade level.

On the Find a School search feature, families can filter for schools with open seats by age and grade level.
