  19. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE The GreatPhillySchools website helps  families learn more about K-12 schools and daycare/preschool options in Philadelphia. On greatphillyschools.org, families can learn  about schools and school selection through a school finder search feature, articles, partner resources, school events and more. Each school is allowed access to their  school profile to enter qualitative descriptive information to be displayed with final approval by GreatPhillySchools.

  20. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE We can help families find ECE centers still  enrolling students for the 2020-21 school year through GreatPhillySchools.org ! On our website, we feature two ways  families can find open seats. This article features a summary (updated  every 24 hours) of every preschool or daycare center’s open seats by age and grade level. On the Find a School search feature, families  can filter for schools with open seats by age and grade level.

  21. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE Schools Users can login directly from the  GreatPhillySchools website by scrolling to the bottom on the homepage and clicking on the School Login link.

  22. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE Enter your login credentials and click the  GPS User Login button. If you need assistance with your password or  need to change your email, contact Margery Cedano (mcedano@philaschool.org)

  23. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE From here, you can either make  changes by clicking on the Edit button in the top right corner or hovering over each individual item and clicking on the pencil image.

  24. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE Open Seats are updated in the  Enrollment Data section. Click the Edit button in the top right of  the page to edit your center’s current enrollment information. After you have finished, click Save . 

  25. UPDATING YOUR GREATPHILLYSCHOOLS PROFILE Upon clicking Save , the updated  information will be submitted to the GPS team for review. Please allow 3 business days for review  before publication.

  26. PRE-ORDERING 2020-21 K-12 SCHOOL GUIDES Printed guides include profiles  and performance data for over 400 K-12 Philadelphia District, charter, and private school options. The guides also explain the  different types of schools factors families should consider when choosing the option that’s best for them.

FIRST UP ECE FELLOWSHIP  The purpose of the fellowship is to develop leaders and advocates for the ECE community.  The fellowship has four retreat style weekend meetings per year(Friday at 3pm through Saturday at 3pm).  In addition, we have a one-day trip to Harrisburg during budget season(Early May – early June), and a one-day closing meeting.  Personal anecdote  We are now taking applications for our next cohort!(send an email indicating your interest to: james.nicholson@firstup.org)
