CARES ACT FUNDING

Distributed to eligible, certified child care providers through Early Learning Resource Centers (ELRCs) in June 2020

Attestation form is available on the PA Key website and must be returned to your local ELRC. NOTE: Even if you have enrollments with multiple regions, you should submit only one attestation to the ELRC where your facility is located.

Grants range from $1,700 to $16,500 with add-ons for subsidy enrollments. There is also an add-

  • n for programs operating in areas of limited child care capacity, however, none of the

counties in Southeast Pennsylvania fall into this category. The actual amount of each provider’s grant has been determined by OCDEL and provided to ELRCs.

Providers deemed ineligible (reasons include unpaid tax liens, inspection by the Office of Inspector General, and/or health and safety concerns cited by OCDEL) will receive direct communication from OCDEL.
