Sarah Morden is a library assistant in Saskatoon and in a typically librarian way; she is quietly competent, wickedly savvy with technology, understands people and is the last person to toot her own horn. She does so much more than vetting new members and reviewing all your posts. Sarah Morden is the one who created the game plan for what we would do with this group. "No non-library stuff. No trolling. No harassment. Be grateful. HAVE FUN! Repeat tomorrow."

This ¡page ¡will ¡likely ¡do ¡more ¡harm ¡than ¡good ¡for ¡public ¡libraries ¡in ¡Saskatchewan. ¡ The ¡memes ¡that ¡ridicule ¡the ¡elected ¡government ¡are ¡antagonizing ¡and ¡demeaning, ¡and ¡they ¡lower ¡the ¡ professionalism ¡of ¡public ¡libraries ¡in ¡general ¡…. ¡If ¡there ¡is ¡a ¡possibility ¡of ¡any ¡movement ¡or ¡of ¡dialogue ¡on ¡the ¡cuts, ¡ this ¡type ¡of ¡rhetoric ¡will ¡harm ¡the ¡chances ¡of ¡that ¡happening. Battling ¡misinformation

“I watched and listened to most of the legislative debate that was done on April 6th. I happened to catch something Saskatoon Centre MLA (NDP) member David Forbes. "But Mr Speaker, I want to end with this quote that I have adapted. I think the minister will soon find out that hell hath no fury like a Librarian scorned, and he will see that tomorrow afternoon at the demonstrations across this province on Friday". Think he should have said the citizens of the province. What a great turn out.” “I put out a call for help, in a panic. and (someone who prefers to be anonymous) and Victoria Utman answered it. Never having met, she became our go-to person for many of the graphics the admin team used. I could text her, any time of the day and say " I need this, and I have no real idea how to do it, and I need it in 30 minutes" BANG - it would turn up in my inbox, something I had never thought of, but so perfect for the moment. We relied on her and she always came through.”
