Safety and Security Building walkthroughs with Readington Township Chief of Police, Lieutenant from the Hunterdon County Updates from Prosecutor's Office and the State of NJ Office of School Preparedness and Emergency Planning Summer/Fall 2018 District safety/security team Revision of our Security Plan Camera update Phone system enhancements Updated visitor protocols Additional training for staff

The double entry Safety and security continues to be of the highest priority for the district vestibules Our strategic plan calls for the district to: Promote a healthy and caring school environment for students and staff. Subgoal 2.9 in our strategic plan discusses WHY? updates to school security plans Feedback from law enforcement suggests that the vestibules are of high importance The vestibules has also been discussed within the parent forum as something the district should consider as an additional measure for safety

The double entry Double entry vestibules will be placed at the following locations: vestibules ● Three Bridges School main entrance ● Whitehouse School main entrance ● Readington Middle School main entrance WHAT and WHERE? ● Board Office wing of Holland Brook School ...with security film on glass in various locations …and a “bank teller” style pass-through window Update to our card swipe/access control system in all 4 buildings

  7. The double entry The vestibule project is scheduled to begin summer of 2019 for all schools vestibules The project is scheduled to be completed by the end WHEN? of the summer 2019 for all schools, prior to student return in September

  8. The double entry Capital Reserve Funds vestibules ● The cost is approximately $1,000,000 Board Resolution on tonight’s agenda to add the vestibule project to the Long Range Facility Plan HOW? Future resolution to approve the project bid
