Using Safety Technology

BASCO - Building Access Security Control Office

  • Electronic access control (EAC)

○ Each employee has FOB with different access ability ○ All police departments have 24/7 all door access FOBs

  • Exterior door locks

○ Strict control of exterior key - E-Key

  • Limited access points

○ Limited to 2 - 7 access points

  • Each with EAC, E-Key, and with camera monitoring
  • The District monitors and supports:

○ Over 100 panic buttons - Silent alarms ○ Over 600 Cameras ○ Over 2,000 handheld and base radios being utilized within the district.
