What is a Concussion?

A traumatic brain injury- A bump, blow, or jolt to the head or hit to the body causing head and brain to move rapidly back and forth. May cause the brain to bounce around or twist in the skull, stretching and damaging brain cells and creating chemicals changes in the brain.
