 CYMPO developed the Long

Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) in 2006.

 FHWA regulation requires all

MPO to update the LRTP every 5 years, if data is available

 Jurisdictional General Land Use

plans currently under revision/ update

 Economic uncertainty and fiscal

accountability

 Conditions conducive only to

verify or re-prioritize the adopted LRTP improvements to fulfill FHWA requirements

2010 shows increases varying from 14 % to 65 % by jurisdiction

 2010 Census Data will be used to

establish a new population forecast baseline

 Review the programmed short-term (2-5

years) improvements identified in the CYMPO LRTP and verify they are still viable and needed

 Identify usage of the limited funds for the

maximum benefit of the region
