Mr Ralph Bagge Chair Stoke Poges Parish Council Dear Mr Bagge I am writing to you with reference to our proposals to establish a secondary school on Hollybush Hill, Stoke Poges. I have received a number of calls from your local residents expressing concerns about this proposal and allegations of undue process. I thought it would be helpful for our Headteacher designate and I to meet you and some of your residents/colleagues so that we can personally provide some background to this proposal and the process that we are planning to undertake. I trust this will help us to have a constructive and professional dialogue over the coming weeks. Please let me know if and when you would like to meet. I am generally available in the evenings from 6pm and ideally next Thursday. Yours faithfully Nick Singh Kandola Chair of Trustees Slough Sikh Education Trust 0777 5503167

  • To preserve the setting an special character historic town

  • 2. CONSERVATION AREAS

The development is located adjacent to the Framewood Road Conservation area. Development within a conservation area must preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation area. The character of a conservation area is not only determined by its physical features such as the buildings and walls but also the type of use. The intensity of use can have a very significant impact on the character of a conservation area. Conservation areas can be particularly sensitive to change if the use were to bring about greater traffic generation or an increase in the number and or size of commercial vehicles.
