SLIDE 10 About Concrete Noise Barriers with Brick Patterns An absorptive material is applied on the highway side.
This limits the reflection of noise waves. The surface has a porous appearance.
Buff colored concrete posts and caps will be used. The panels will be sealed completely with one color, red brick.
The grout lines will not appear in a different color. This has be done throughout the region.
Icons may be added if selected by City Officials.

If you choose NO Noise Barriers: Vegetative Screening is available in lieu of noise barriers.
Vegetative Screening does NOT reduce highway noise. Vegetative Screening is limited by the amount of space available. It may take several years to fully establish.
Or the existing condition can remain as is.
