PrivatSea Marine Services is one of the largest shipyards in the Eastern Mediterranean comprising 1,500 m of docks and piers, 15,000 sq.m of buildings and structures on 88,000 sq.m of land. PSMS is a member of the Latsis Group of companies founded in Greece in the 1940s. THE SHIPYARD THE LATSIS GROUP

The shipyard was established in 1968 as IPK Hellas and was acquired by the Latsis Group in 1977 in order to meet the rising demands of the fleet of the Latsis Group. From 1995 until 2006 the shipyard provided the complete range of specialized repair and conversion services to a wide variety of vessels ranging from luxury mega yachts to merchant

accommodate vessels for permanent or seasonal berthing, maintenance, refits and conversions (work teams are outsourced).

Outdated computers, screens, computer related auxiliaries, electronic equipment, mobile phones etc are handed to the near-by municipality licensed facilities to be environmentally disposed. Glass, paper, plastic, aluminum cans, packaging material etc are collected monthly by a licensed private entity to be environmentally disposed.

ENVIRONMENT

The facility is located on the Old National Road from Athens to Corinth, close to the intersection

• f the Athens Toll Expressway

(Attiki Odos) and the National

• Motorway. It is 25km from

Athens downtown and Piraeus port and 50 km from the Athens New International Airport, less than half an hour highway drive. In the nearby city of Elefsis one can find a general hospital, police and coast guard stations, fire brigade, post office, public telecommunications, government administrative services, various hotels and restaurants.

Follow the Side Road, off the National Road, right before reaching the Elefsis Toll Gates. Turn left under the bridge and make an immediate right turn, following the road straight ahead. At the cross road turn left and head straight towards Elefsis. At approximately 1,5km, on the right you will find PrivatSea Marine Services’ facilities (27thkm of the Athens - Corinth Old National Road).
