Technology – How it works
Print and apply systems are used to identify cartons and pallets in increasingly automated environments. The system comprises of two main parts, a print engine and an applicator. Print and apply machines can be easily integrated onto any production line. The print engine, in stand alone mode with a PC or a terminal, or integrated into the production process, prints the messages
- nto the adhesive label.
Once the label is printed, the applicator applies it to either a moving or stationery
- product. Many application methods are
available dependant on the product and production process.
