Partnerships & collaboration Pathways for Children with Developmental Delays We are partnering with early childhood public service providers in Melbourne’s west to make services and supports easier to access and use for families and workers. A Referral Decision Aid was developed to clarify eligibility and • referrals. PCDD Alliance collectively monitoring and responding to systems • changes and challenges. Next steps : Develop regional discussion paper about identifying • & supporting vulnerable families to access & use services, based on review of literature and scoping of local work.

Building evidence & sharing knowledge Identifying & Responding to Family Violence The health system is a key point of contact for both identifying family violence, and for intervening to support women and children to reduce their risk of violence. • Launched Guidelines for Engaging People Who Cause Family Violence Harm to guide practice responding to perpetrators. • Evaluation of the Identifying & Responding to Family Violence North West regional project. • Active participant in the Western Integrated Family Violence Committee (WIFVC).
