Lisbon Channel Access Project • Bid Highlights – The bid includes: • Grubbing and installation of approximately 4,500 LF of base course access path (with asphalt additive alt) • Installation of retaining wall in areas where side-slopes of arroyo are close to property lines and insufficient width is available for the access path • Installation of metal railing along majority of length of the access • Three culvert crossings to accommodate off site drainage 7
Lisbon Channel Access Project • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) – The successful bidder shall develop and implement the plan. – The successful bidder will need to file a Notice of Intent (NOI) for the project with EPA. SSCAFCA will also file an NOI as the Owner. – No work on the project shall commence until the mandatory waiting period after filing the NOI is complete – Successful bidder must file Notice of Termination (NOT) with EPA once project is complete and site is stabilized. 8
Lisbon Channel Access Project • Bid Schedule – Last day to submit written questions is February 27 by 5:00 PM • Submit all questions via e-mail to dcasaus@sscafca.com • Ms. Casaus will email you back letting you know we received the question • Remember to change subject line to “Lisbon Channel Access Project Question” – SSCAFCA will post responses to written questions on web page (http://sscafca.org) by March 5, 5:00 PM – Any Addenda will be issued by SSCAFCA by March 5, 5:00 PM. Addenda will be posted to the website. Aside from posting on website, no notification will occur. – Bids are due to SSCAFCA by 3:00 PM on March 8. Public bid opening shortly after 3:00 PM. 9
Lisbon Channel Access Project • Project Schedule (post bid): – SSCAFCA, in consultation with NMDOT hopes to determine the lowest responsive bidder by March 13. – SSCAFCA hopes to request SSCAFCA Board of Directors approval to contract with lowest responsive bidder on March 16. – SSCAFCA will continue to work with NMDOT and the lowest responsive bidder to finalize contract. 10
