11/8/2012 Basic Amenities • Controlled access gates * Double gated for security and control * Self latching and closing (electronic locks) • Fencing * Wood w/wire, chain ‐ link, ornamental metal, none • Dog Needs * Safe access (gates) * Water (drinking, washing off, and play areas) * Shade * Agility/play equipment • Human Needs * Shelter (shade), benches, tables • Informational Systems * Signage and kiosks • Electricity • Attractive and easy to maintain landscaping (outside the dog area  ) • Water * Humans (drinking fountains) * Dogs ( drinking fountains and washing) Dog Park Rules • All dogs must be leashed until they enter the dog park • No more than 3 dogs per person on any visit • No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat allowed. Once aggression is shown, owners must immediately leash and remove their dog from the park • Proof of vaccinations and valid licenses subject to local Animal Control ordinances • Owners must be in voice control of their animals at all times • Pickup and disposal of pet waste is the responsibility of the owner • No smoking or eating inside the dog park. Small dog treats are ok • Sick dogs not allowed • Puppies less than four (4) months old are not allowed • Report all dog bites to Animal Control. Owners are liable for any injuries or damages caused by their dog(s) • Children less than 12 years of age not allowed inside dog area 2
