The Project comprises of a new park-and-ride transit terminal facility and an access road located within the northwest quadrant of the Homestead Extension of the Florida’s Turnpike (HEFT) and NW 12th Street interchange, on land owned by FDOT and MDX. The Dolphin Station Park & Ride Transit Terminal Facility will support the Miami-Dade Transit SR 836 Express Bus service as well as

planned Express Bus routes; and additionally the facility will potentially be used as a terminus or stop for several local bus routes serving the Dolphin Mall and the nearby cities of Sweetwater and Doral. The project includes utility connections to this new facility; as well as the widening and resurfacing of the adjacent NW 12 St which fronts this facility.
